Holidays in Park City

With the fresh powder and softly falling snow, Park City is already the perfect place to create your holiday winter wonderland!

From world-class dining for your holiday celebrations to festive activities, Park City, Utah has it all. Take a peek into the past by visiting the Viking Yurt! You’ll enjoy a 25-minute sleigh ride up the mountain before being treated to hot spiced glogg, along with a five-course dinner. Or skip the dinner and enjoy a classic horse-drawn sleigh ride through Willow Draw.

DecemberFest kicks off on December 19 and runs until January 3, 2016 with all-day entertainment and music.

Santa Claus is coming to Park City and will ride down the town lift in Park City on December 17! Starting at 5 p.m., you can enjoy cookies and hot chocolate as you await Old Saint Nick’s arrival or plan to visit with him at Deer Valley on Christmas Eve from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and have your camera ready! Santa will be in the Snow Park Lodge from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and then from noon to 1:30 p.m., he’ll be in the Silver Lake Lodge area.

For our visitors keeping kosher, the Bistro at Canyons Village will offer traditional Sabbath meals and visitors can attend orthodox synagogue services in a Shul in town. View the 2016 Eruv map and prayer schedule at the Silverado Lodge.

Say good-bye to 2016 with the Deer Valley annual Torchlight Parade on December 30! Enjoy the parade and complimentary hot cider and cookies in the Snow Park Plaza from 5:45 – 6 p.m.

New Year’s Eve in Park City is a family-friendly evening with activities, entertainment, sleigh rides, and of course a fireworks show! Festivities begin at 3 p.m. and run until about 8 p.m.
