Historic Main Street District in Park City

Park City's Historic Main Street district is a throwback to the area's silver mining era and a hub of the best shopping, dining and nightlife that can be found here today. Guests of The Lowell are only a short drive or free bus ride from this center of things to do in Park City, which is well worth a visit during just about any trip. A few details about the area are listed here for your convenience, but with more than 200 businesses (including 50 restaurants) to choose from, the best way to enjoy Historic Park City is to explore it for yourself!

Concerned about parking before you arrive? Two parking garages offer free parking spaces within this popular section of town, along with private garages and meters along the Main Street itself. You can also grab a ride from the free transit system, which runs from just outside our hotel into the heart of the district on a 10-minute ride. Take a look at the city's official maps page to find parking areas and complete details about the shuttle!

Once you've arrived, the sky is the limit! Bookstores, cafés, art galleries, clothing stores and everything in between can be found along Main Street. Treat yourself to a relaxing session at the Aura Spa, or the delightful flavors at Java Cow Café and Bakery! You can even catch a show at the Egyptian Theater, or one of the many high-class bars, nightclubs and steakhouses scattered along and around the street. Please take a look at our restaurants page for more details, including eateries accessible from the Park City Resort Town Lift, which descends directly into the neighborhood.

In addition to the usual retail selections, Historic Park City is home to the Park City Museum a window into the community's past that also offers tours and special events, like film screenings. Services like ski and bike rentals, a state liquor store and post office are also nearby.

We hope you make a trip to Park City's Historic Main Street, a highlight among the area's offerings, part of your next stay with The Lowell!
