Park City Winter Itinerary

With three ski resorts to choose from and a variety of other things to do, there's no limit to the ways you can spend a winter's day during your stay at The Lowell. For your convenience, we have organized a few sample itineraries here to get your planning started, which you can mix and match from to suit your needs.

You can begin with a day focused on Deer Valley Resort, which is conveniently located right next to The Lowell. Don't let the potential hassle of managing your own baggage and equipment discourage you, either: there are a range of affordable rental shops on the mountain, plus instruction programs if you haven’t been on the mountain in a while. Non-skiers can also try out the mountain's Alpine Coaster and Flying Eagle Zip Line before heading down--perhaps to learn more about Park City at a visit to the Park CIty Museum (http://parkcityhistory.org/). Grab lunch on the mountain before you do, or stop at one of Park City's eateries like El Chubasco or the Silver Star Café! Check our calendar for events, a concert or film that may be occurring to round off your day.

On the next day, enjoy breakfast at the highly rated Park City Bread & Bagel before continuing to Gorgoza Tubing Park, both of which are located northeast of town on Highway 80.  From there, it's an easy drive to the other side of Park City Mountain Resort formally known as the Canyons Resort for a half-day on the slopes, or a different set of activities at Utah Olympic Park. Then settle in for a delicious evening meal at High West Distillery & Saloon or one of the other bars in town.

Finally, a day of Cross-Country Skiing is another way to enjoy Park City's winter landscape in a quieter, more secluded fashion, especially if you choose a custom tour into the backcountry. By itself, or paired with another Park City activity and a relaxing meal at an in town restaurant to finish, this is an excellent way to have a low-stress day during your stay at The Lowell!
