A Local’s Guide to Savor the Summit


Where the aroma of food lingers, the drinks flow readily, and dining alfresco is a revitalized artform, Savor the Summit is Park City’s summer highlight every visitor should attend. Brush elbows, at the outdoor community tables, with locals and tourists alike, at this annual dinner party! With over 20 restaurants offering their unique alfresco dining and beverage menus, you will get to savor the best culinary cuisine Park City has to offer. So, pull up to the “Grande Table” and enjoy one of the greatest nights of the year, with our handy guide to Savor the Summit.


As Park City’s largest outdoor dinner party, Savor the Summit is a unique celebration of wonderful food, drinks, and live music. Take a seat in the middle of historic Main Street while the best restaurants in town showcase their culinary talents during this community event. No tickets are required, but a reservation with a participating restaurant is required.

Each restaurant participating will offer their own special menu for the event, typically reflecting what the restaurant is best known for. Most restaurants will offer a beverage element to their menu, with some included in the price and some as an optional add-on. Be on the look-out for those who have an on-site bar to walk up to.

Live Music

Live music will begin at 5:00 PM and run to about 10 PM at the High West Spirit Garden. There will be a variety of bands and a DJ providing the musical entertainment. There is no admission fee for the concerts, it is FREE to listen!

  • 8:00 – 10:00 PM – The Number One

High West Spirit Garden

After years of support from High West Distillery, they will be hosting their Spirit Garden for event participants. The Spirit Garden will feature a variety of spirits, wine, and beer, plus live music will be played here later in the evening. New this year, they will be offering a $50 VIP ticket, which will include assorted food items from The Brass Tat and two drinks. Their high-spirited libations worth a taste or two are the Utah-only 14 Year Light Whiskey and their High West Double Rye.


Located on Main Street, your best option is to park at the Treasure Mountain Junior High (2530 Keams Blvd.) and ride the FREE transit system to Main Street. There are paid parking garages also available at Swede Alley and Marriott Summit Watch. Of course, staying at The Lowell you are just minutes from Main Street so you can conveniently walk to the event.

Helpful Tips:

  • Get your tickets early, spots sell out fast with this popular event.
  • Arrive there early. Seats at the table fill up fast.
  • Bring layers. While it may almost be summer, once the sun sets, nights cool down very quickly in Park City.
